Enthusiasm: A little emotion that will make a big difference in your life

"The pessimist sees difficulty in every opportunity.  The optimist sees opportunity in every difficulty." Winston Churchill

We have all met people who were pessimistic and those people try to spread this poison around to everyone they meet.  It becomes a daily ritual for them to complain about everything from the weather to their health. The more we listen the more negative we feel.

Stay away from those people if at all possible.  If you cannot, then substitute every negative statement with a positive one.  You may just think it in your mind but it is still a defense mechanism against their negativity.  They say it is raining and you think it is good for the garden and lawn.  They say we will all die from our polluted planet and you think it will not be in our lifetime and by then people will be preserving our planet.  They say the world is going to hell in a hand basket and you think there is so much good being done in the world by so many people.  You get the idea.

Really feel within yourself that something good is going to happen to you.

Get up in the morning with the feeling that today is a new day and new opportunities await you.  Eagerly anticipate new things that will be coming into your life soon.

See every event as a chance for happiness, success and a positive action sent by the Universe to improve your life.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY

I am eager for all opportunities and will make them into something positive.
